  the class\, please sign up for the waiting list to be the first to be con
 tacted for the 2026 class.\n\nIntroduction to the Art of Tinning is design
 ed to provide a beginning knowledge of the 18th & 19th century tinning usi
 ng manual construction tools and techniques. A brief history of the tinsmi
 th trade will be covered during an illustrated talk. \n\nThe fee for the c
 lass is $200.00 for Non-members\, $185.00 for Members + $40 materials fee.
 \n\nStudents will be able to construct several reproduction items includin
 g a candle holder\, wall sconce\, typical punched-tin pie cabinet panel\, 
 one pint mug\, etc. Starting with basic layout and pattern making\, we wil
 l walk through the cutting\, forming\, and assembly of a project. Projects
  are based on period designs\, using traditional tools and methods. All to
 ols and materials are included for the workshop. Participants are encourag
 ed to bring examples of tin ware as well as tools for examples\, discussio
 n and possible use.\n\nThe class is taught by 'Tinman' Roy and Sharon Phil
 lips\, and Apprentice John Boburchuk.\n\nSchedule for the workshop is Satu
 rday and Sunday\, 8:00am to ~5:00pm both days.
