Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with the Somerset Historical Center
The America250PA Mobile Unit will be making its stop in Somerset County at the Somerset Historical Center. The mobile unit is a custom-built experience on wheels designed to bring the Semiquincentennial directly to Pennsylvanians.
The mobile unit is powered by Penske in partnership with Visit Pennsylvania: The Great American Getaway and features the interactive exhibits Pennsylvania Pursuit trivia game, the retro-style video game Keystone Quest, and The Commonwealth Chronicles digital storytelling booth where visitors can record and share personal stories about their lives, histories, and hopes for the future. Engaging with the exhibits and connecting on social media will provide you with the opportunity to spin the prize wheel.
The event will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd from 11:00 am to 3:00pm at the Somerset Historical Center. Admission to the Mobile Unit is FREE and visitors can also receive half price admission to the museum exhibit Into the Glades and the Somerset Historical Center Museum Store will be open for shoppers filled with .
