Fiber Friends Meeting
Fiber Friends Monthly Meeting
Interested in spinning or weaving...but don't know where to start? Perhaps you've already dabbled in these arts and aren't sure what to tackle next. YouTube videos and classes can be helpful, but sometimes you want an in-person human to assist!
Welcome to Fiber Friends, a new group forming to provide support for like-minded crafters. Our goal is to gather the first Saturday morning of each month to learn about a fiber skill, share what we're doing, and have time to get help, guidance, and inspiration from each other.
When: Saturday, October 4 from 10:00am to 1:00pm
Where: The Somerset Historical Center
How much: FREE *Donations accepted* Optional - Bring an item for show and tell.
Schedule
9:00-10:00 Tim and Amy with discuss how they got started with spinning, share advice on wheels and methods, and answer questions.
10:00-11:00 Show 'n Tell: an informal sharing of what you're working on or perhaps what you LIKE to learn and create!
11:00-12:00 Get specific help with a project or technique, watch and learn, or just enjoy time to practice or try out a wheel or loom, etc.
